Corn exports from Ukrainian seaports in January 2021 decrease by 31.2%month-on-month

  Foreign media news on February 22:According to the analysis agency APK-Inform, the export volume of major cereals from Ukrainian seaports declined from January 1 to 31, 2021.

   In January, Ukrainian seaports exported 2.8 million tons of cereals, a decrease of 31.2%from 4.07 million tons in the previous month.
   Wheat exports in January were 600,000 tons, an increase of 17.3%year-on-year, and barley exports were 300,000 tons, an increase of 2.8 times. Corn exports fell to 2.03 million tons.
   In January, China was the largest importer of Ukrainian corn with an import volume of 500,000 tons; it was also the largest importer of Ukrainian barley with an import volume of 125,000 tons.
  Pakistan is the largest importer of Ukrainian wheat, with an import volume of 149,500 tons.
   In 2020/21, Mykolaiv seaport is still the number one grain export port, with a volume of 10.1 million tons. The ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdennyj ranked second and third with 7.1 million tons and 5.5 million tons respectively.
