  7 batches of samples detected food additive problems
   Among the unqualified samples, 7 batches of samples were found to have problems with food additives.    Potassium aluminum sulfate (also known as potassium alum) and ammonium aluminum sulfate (also known as ammonium alum) are commonly used leavening agents and stabilizers in food processing, and aluminum residues will be produced after use. Aluminum is not an essential trace element for the human body. It does not participate in normal physiological metabolism. It is accumulative. Excessive intake will affect the body’s absorption of iron, calcium and other components, leading to osteoporosis, anemia, and even affecting the development of nerve cells. The”National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Use Standard” (GB 2760-2014) stipulates that potassium aluminum sulfate and ammonium aluminum sulfate in fried noodle products and bean products should be used in appropriate amounts according to production needs, and the residual amount of aluminum ≤100mg/kg ( Dry sample, calculated as Al).
   In addition, the sulfur dioxide residues detected in 3 batches of samples did not meet the national food safety standards.    Sulfur dioxide, potassium metabisulfite, and sodium sulfite are commonly used bleaching agents and preservatives in food processing, and will produce sulfur dioxide residues after use. The”National Food Safety Standard Food Additives Use Standard” (GB 2760-2014) stipulates that the residual sulfur dioxide in dried edible fungi and algae should not exceed 0.05g/kg, and the residual sulfur dioxide in dried vegetables should not exceed 0.2g /kg. After entering the human body, sulfur dioxide is finally converted into sulfate and excreted with urine. A small amount of intake will not cause health hazards to the body, but excessive consumption may cause gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting.

  2 batches of samples detected microbial contamination problems
   Among the unqualified samples, two batches of samples were found to have microbial contamination problems.    The total number of bacterial colonies is an indicative microbial index, not an index of pathogenic bacteria. It is mainly used to evaluate the cleanliness of food and reflect whether the food meets the hygienic requirements during the production process. The”National Food Safety Standard Cooked Meat Products” (GB2726-2016) stipulates that the total number of colonies in cooked meat products (except fermented meat products) is n=5, c=2, m=10000, M=100000, and the unit is CFU /g. Exceeding the total number of colonies indicates that individual companies may not strictly control the sanitary conditions of the production and processing process as required, or the packaging containers are not cleaned and disinfected in place; it may also be related to the improper sealing of product packaging and improper control of storage and transportation conditions.
  Pesticide and veterinary drug residues detected in 7 batches of samples
   Among the unqualified samples, 7 batches of samples were found to have pesticide and veterinary drug residues.    Sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate and 6-benzyl adenine are plant growth regulators. The”Announcement on the Prohibition of the Use of 6-Benzyl Adenine and Other Substances in the Process of Bean Sprouts” (Food and Drug Administration, Ministry of Agriculture, National Health and Family Planning Commission 2015 No. 11) stipulates that producers must not use 6 in the process of bean sprouts production.   Profenofos is a broad-spectrum insecticide, mainly used to control insect pests in cotton, vegetables, fruits and vegetables, etc., with contact and stomach toxicity. According to the National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limits of Pesticides in Foods (GB 2763-2019), the maximum residue limit of profenofos in tangerines, tangerines and oranges is 0.2mg/kg.
