Recently, the Hefei Market Supervision Administration organized sampling inspections of 397 batches of 6 types of edible agricultural products, catering food, processed food products, dairy products, edible oil, fats and oils and their products, and seasonings. They were inspected and judged according to national food safety standards. Among them, there are 395 batches of qualified samples and 2 batches of unqualified samples (see appendix). The unqualified samples involve veterinary drug residues.
For the unqualified products found in the random inspection, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau has instructed the Chaohu City and Yaohai District Market Supervision and Administration Departments to immediately organize verification and disposal, find out the product flow, and take measures such as removing the unqualified products from the shelves to control risks; Violations of laws and regulations shall be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law. The market supervision departments in the above jurisdictions shall promptly announce the verification and disposal status to the public. If it is found during the investigation that the duties of other departments are involved, the relevant information shall be notified to the relevant functional departments.

Veterinary drug residue problem
(1) The florfenicol index of foreign eggs sold by Cai Guangqing Cereals and Oils Sales Department of Chaohu City does not meet the national food safety standards. The inspection agency is Hefei Customs Technology Center.
(2) Clenbuterol indicators for beef sold by Sister Yang’s Halal Beef and Mutton Wholesale Department, Yaohai District, Hefei City, do not meet the national food safety standards. The inspection agency is Hefei Customs Technology Center.
