Food Partner Network News According to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), on February 10, 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland reported to OIE that an H5N8 highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreak occurred in Finland .

   The outbreak occurred in the town of Yavikala, Southern Finland, and it was confirmed on February 10, 2021. The source of the epidemic was exposure to wild species. According to laboratory tests, the specific incidence is as follows:
