4 highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreaks in Bulgaria

Food Partner Network News According to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), on February 9, 2021, the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food reported to OIE that 4 cases of H5 highly pathogenic avian influenza occurred in Bulgaria epidemic.

   The 4 outbreaks occurred in Pleven State and were confirmed on February 3, 2021. The source of the epidemic is unknown or uncertain. According to laboratory tests, the specific incidence is as follows:
