News from Bulgarian National Radio on January 8. According to a survey conducted by the Bulgarian Modern Trade Association, nearly 70%of dairy and meat products in large retail chains come from Bulgaria. It is guaranteed that locally produced bread and baked goods account for the largest proportion, and in some chain stores, its localization degree reaches 100%. The most serious problem in ensuring the supply of goods is the supply of fruits and vegetables. The localization of such products in large supermarket chains is less than 50%. According to the Modern Trade Association, due to its geographical location, Bulgaria can only produce some fruits and vegetables that are popular on the market.
