   According to the fixed-point monitoring of the fairs and collection points in 500 counties across the country, the fifth week of December (collection date is December 30) live pigs and poultry products The prices of compound feed for beef and mutton, fresh milk, corn, soybean meal, and laying hens rose, while the prices of compound feed for fattening pigs and broilers remained flat.

  Live pig price. The national average price of live pigs was 34.80 yuan/kg, up 3.2%from the previous week, and 4.6%compared with the same period last year (hereinafter referred to as the year-on-year). The price of live pigs increased in 30 monitored provinces across the country. The average price of live pigs in central China is higher, at 35.51 yuan/kg; in Northwest China, the average price is 33.07 yuan/kg. The national average pork price was 51.65 yuan/kg, up 2.3%from the previous week and 1.5%year-on-year. The price of pork has risen in 30 monitored provinces across the country. The average price of pork in Eastern China is higher, at 52.96 yuan/kg; in Northeast China, the average price is lower at 49.38 yuan/kg. The national average piglet price was 84.94 yuan/kg, up 2.1%from the previous week and 13.0%year-on-year. The price of piglets increased in 24 provinces including Liaoning, Hebei, Jilin, Shaanxi and Xinjiang, while prices in 4 provinces including Hainan, Guangdong, Qinghai and Guizhou decreased, while prices in Tianjin remained flat.

   poultry product prices. The national average egg price was 9.78 yuan/kg, up 1.6%from the previous week and down 14.1%year-on-year. The average price of eggs in 10 major producing provinces including Hebei and Liaoning was 8.52 yuan/kg, up 2.9%from the previous week and down 8.9%year-on-year. The national average price of live chicken was 19.77 yuan/kg, up 0.4%from the previous week and down 15.7%year-on-year; the average price of white striped chicken was 21.68 yuan/kg, up 0.6%from the previous week and down 13.0%year-on-year. The average price of commercial broiler chickens was 3.37 yuan per chicken, up 0.9%from the previous week and down 33.7%year-on-year; the average price of commercial broiler chickens was 3.19 yuan per chicken, up 0.9%from the previous week and down 34.2%year-on-year.

   beef and mutton price. The national average price of beef was 87.17 yuan/kg, up 0.4%from the previous week and up 5.9%year-on-year. The average price of beef in major producing provinces such as Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, Shandong and Henan was 78.88 yuan/kg, up 0.5%from the previous week. The national average price of mutton was 84.36 yuan/kg, up 0.5%from the previous week and 5.1%year-on-year. The average price of mutton in major producing provinces such as Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Henan and Xinjiang was 80.11 yuan/kg, up 0.7%from the previous week.

   feed price. The national average price of corn was 2.65 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4%from the previous week and a year-on-year increase of 26.8%. The average price of corn in the three northeastern provinces in the main producing area was 2.49 yuan/kg, up 0.4%from the previous week; the price of corn in Guangdong, the main selling area was 2.82 yuan/kg, up 0.7%from the previous week. The national average price of soybean meal was 3.49 yuan/kg, up 0.6%from the previous week and 6.7%year-on-year. The average price of compound feed for fattening pigs was 3.41 yuan/kg, the same as the previous week, an increase of 11.1%; the average price of compound feed for broilers was 3.44 yuan/kg, the same as the previous week, an increase of 8.2%; the average price of compound feed for laying hens was 3.15 yuan/Kg, up 0.3%from the previous week and 8.6%year-on-year.
