   In 2020, the National Health Commission approved a total of 35 new food additives through 2020 No. 4, 2020 No. 6, 2020 No. 8 and 2020 No. 9 Varieties, including 15 new varieties of enzyme preparations for the food industry, 1 new variety of food additives, 1 new variety of food processing aids, 1 new variety of food nutrition fortifiers, and 17 food additives with expanded use range/used amount ( Among them, 3 are processing aids and 2 are nutrition fortifiers).

   In 2020, the National Health Commission approved a total of 2020 No. 4, 2020 No. 6, 2020 No. 8, 2020 No. 9 Announcement 53 new varieties of food-related products, including 11 new varieties of food contact materials and product additives (accounting for 20.75%of the total), 20 new varieties of food contact materials and product resins (accounting for 37.74%of the total), and expanded applications 18 kinds of additives for food contact materials and products (accounting for 33.96%of the total) and 4 kinds of resins for food contact materials and products (accounting for 7.55%of the total) that have been expanded.
