   In the first three quarters of 2020, my country has imported a total of 2.408 million tons of dairy products, an increase of 7.9%year-on-year; imports amounted to US$8.819 billion, an increase of 5.2%year-on-year. Among them, dry dairy products were 1,670,300 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%, and imports were US$7.859 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%; liquid milk was 737,800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%, and imports were US$960 million, a year-on-year increase of 12%.
   In the third quarter, my country imported a total of 817,600 tons of various dairy products, an increase of 14.8%year-on-year; imports amounted to US$2.873 billion, an increase of 5.6%year-on-year. Among them, dry dairy products were 519,500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%, and imports were US$2.491 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%; liquid milk was 298,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 19.7%, and imports were US$382 million, a year-on-year increase of 22.8%. In the third quarter, a total of 10,378.12 tons of various dairy products were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 15.7%, and the export value was 44,069,400 US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 46.1%.
  1 Import situation
   In the third quarter of 2020, imported dry dairy products of 817,600 tons, the main three categories of products include 189,900 tons of large packages of milk powder, accounting for 23.2%, 175,200 tons of whey, accounting for 21.4%, and infant formula powders of 87,600 tons. , Accounting for 10.7%.
   Large packages of milk powder In the third quarter of 2020, a total of 189,900 tons of large packages of milk powder were imported, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%. Imports were US$620 million, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%. The average price was US$3,266/ton, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%. Among them, 96,300 tons were imported from New Zealand, accounting for 50.72%, a year-on-year decrease of 12.8%, 40,400 tons from the EU, accounting for 21.29%, a year-on-year decrease of 6.2%, and 25,100 tons from Australia, accounting for 13.26%, an increase of 31.6%.

  Baby powder imported in the third quarter was 87,600 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.8%. Imports amounted to US$1.332 billion, down 2.7%year-on-year. The average price was US$15,197/ton, an increase of 3.2%year-on-year. Among them, 63,500 tons were imported from the EU, accounting for 72.4%, a year-on-year decrease of 6.0%, 17,700 tons from New Zealand, accounting for 20.2%, an increase of 5.5%, and 2800 tons from Australia, accounting for 3.2%, a year-on-year decrease of 28.9%.

   Whey imported 175,200 tons in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 41.4%. Imports amounted to US$248 million, a year-on-year increase of 45.8%. The average price was US$1,418/ton, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%. Among them, 82,400 tons were imported from the EU, accounting for 47.1%, an increase of 44.6%, 59,800 tons from the United States, accounting for 34.2%, an increase of 39.4%, and 16,300 tons from Belarus, accounting for 9.3%, an increase of 50.8%.

   Cheese Imported 35,300 tons of cheese in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 35.6%. Imports were US$161 million, a year-on-year increase of 32.3%. The average price was US$4,563/ton, a year-on-year decrease of 2.4%. Among them, 18,400 tons were imported from New Zealand, accounting for 51.9%, an increase of 20.9%year-on-year, 8,400 tons from the EU, accounting for 23.8%, an increase of 64.5%, and 4,900 tons from Australia, accounting for 13.9%, an increase of 48.2%. Imported 2200 tons from the United States, accounting for 6.3%, a year-on-year increase of 49.3%.
   Cream imported 23,900 tons of butter in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 43.7%. Imports amounted to US$116 million, a year-on-year increase of 15.1%. The average price was US$4,876/ton, a year-on-year decrease of 19.9%. Among them, 15,600 tons were imported from New Zealand, accounting for 65.2%, a year-on-year increase of 21.8%, and imports from the European Union were 6 million tons, accounting for 25.2%, an increase of 101.3%.

   Fresh milk imported 288,900 tons of packaged milk in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 21.4%. Imports were US$364 million, a year-on-year increase of 24.5%. The average price was US$1,263/ton, a year-on-year increase of 2.6%. Among them, 173,600 tons were imported from the European Union, accounting for 60.1%, a year-on-year increase of 32.8%, 75,000 tons from New Zealand, accounting for 26.0%, an increase of 8.0%, and 32,300 tons from Australia, accounting for 11.2%, an increase of 7.1%.
   Yogurt imported 9200 tons of yogurt in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%. Imports amounted to US$17 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%. The average price was US$1,852/ton, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%. Among them, the import from the EU was 0.82 million tons, accounting for 88.4%, a year-on-year decrease of 3.2%, and the import from New Zealand was 0.08 million tons, accounting for 9.0%, an increase of 383.2%.
  2 Export situation
   In the third quarter of 2020, a total of 12195.60 tons of various dairy products were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 12.2%, and the export value was US$60,086,700, a year-on-year decrease of 45.5%. Among them, the export of dry dairy products was 3,527.30 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 44.3%, and the export value was 50,974,200 US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 50.1%; the export of dry dairy products was mainly infant formula milk powder, which was 1710.10 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 61.7%, and the export value was 46,005,700 US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 52.6%, and an average price of US$26,902/ton, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%. The total export volume of liquid milk was 8,668.30 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.7%. The export value was US$9.1125 million, a year-on-year increase of 12.0%; the average price was US$1,051/ton, a year-on-year decrease of 2.3%.
