Kazakh News Agency/Nur-Sultan/January 6–Data released by the Statistical Bureau of the Strategic Planning and Reform Agency shows that Kazakhstan’s food price index in 2020 is 111.3%.
According to news, last year, the prices of bread and cereals, meat, fish and seafood, dairy products, eggs, sugar, sweets, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, fresh fruits and vegetables showed an upward trend.
In December 2020, among the meat products, the average price of horsemeat was 2272 tenge/kg (2029 tenge in December 2019), bone-in mutton-1990 tenge (1713 tenge), beef breast Meat-1947 tenge (1803 tenge), pork shoulder-1594 tenge (1466 tenge), chicken-789 tenge (831 tenge).
In terms of the average price of dairy products in December 2020, cheese/kg is 3069 tenge (December 2019-2756 tenge), cheese-1681 tenge (1597 tenge), and milk crust-1177 tenge (1109) Tenge), yogurt-313 tenge (295 tenge), pasteurized milk-270 tenge (251 tenge).
The average price of butter in December 2020 is 2701 tenge per kilogram (2368 tenge in December 2019), sunflower oil -575 tenge (433 tenge), egg -353 tenge (299 tenge) ), sugar -252 tenge (189 tenge).
