Canada approves a pectinase for use in non-standardized fruit and vegetable products

Food Partner Network News On January 5, 2021, Health Canada issued Document NOM/ADM-0157, intending to amend the list of permitted food enzymes and approve pectinase from Aspergillus niger (Pectinase) Used in non-standardized fruit and vegetable products.

   It is understood that this amendment will take effect from January 5, 2021.
