   In the fourth quarter of 2020, the market supervision departments at all levels in Guangdong Province completed a total of 189,289 batches of food safety supervision and sampling, and 5,103 batches were unqualified. The overall disqualification rate was 2.70%, an increase of 0.47 percentage points over the same period in 2019. Among them, the unqualified rates of sampling inspection of dairy products, processed food products, egg products, meat products, edible agricultural products and edible oils, fats and their products with large consumption are 0.17%, 0.95%, 0.95%, 1.36%, 2.45%, respectively , 2.57%.    From the perspective of unqualified items, the main problems found are microbial contamination and pesticide residues, accounting for 31.43%and 29.87%of the total number of unqualified items respectively; The ratio of heavy metals and other pollutants to the total number of unqualified is 11.84%, the ratio of excessive use of food additives to the total number of unqualified problems is 9.12%, and the ratio of labelling problems to the total number of unqualified is 8.56%. The quality index is not up to standard. The ratio of problems to the total number of failures was 7.25%.
